I recently ran across an article about a deer hunter threatening other hunters on state land.  As it turned out he eventually threatened the wrong one!  It was an undercover CO that was on the receiving end of the life threatening tirade! 

     All it takes is one idiot like this to give all hunters a bad name in the public eye.  The article that was published in the Detroit News gives everyone in the non-hunting world a nice glimpse into this guys world.  The problem is that most non-hunters will associate this kind of behavior with all hunters.  Obviously we can’t control idiots like this in the outdoors, but we can be mindful of our own actions.  We need to go that extra mile to set a good example for all hunters follow and all non-hunters to see that all of us are not idiots like the guy mentioned above!  Let’s all do our part at portraying a positive image that we can all be proud of!
