Turkey Permits
Posted by MikeAdams on March 2, 2009
Well the 2009 turkey season can now officially begin! I just got online and checked my tag along with my three oldest kids tags and we all drew a permit this year! My youngest son Jake actually will be hunting spring gobblers in Michigan for the first time. He will be 10 right before the season opens for our permits. Last year I had to take him to Ohio to hunt the thunder chickens due to his age. This will be Jake’s first hunt that he gets to partake in, in the state of
Michigan.
It is time to go and check your drawing results if you put in for a tag. Here is the link to the Michigan DNR page that allows you to get your results online. Good luck to all of you spring gobbler hunters! Now it is time to get out and do some scouting!

Congradulations to all of you. You guys will have one fun and busy spring. I am looking forward to getting my sons out with me also.

Just received an email from the NJDFW–I was successful in drawing tags in the first & second lotteries–first choices for both also, so I’ll have 2 consecutive weeks to hunt. This’ll be my first turkey hunt.
