Sportsmen Make Your Vote Count!

This is going to be the most important election in our lifetime as outdoors men and women! We must stand up and be counted if we are to assure our continuance in our great outdoor heritage. The liberal media has made this election about audio sound bites and video clips taken out of context. We continually see the leftist media bashing the McCain Palin campaign in the nightly news. The video clips we see each night is constantly pushing the polls in the oppositions favor.
This election should be decided on the facts not what ever the nightly news wants us to see or hear in their interpretation of the facts. The facts are that John McCain and Sarah Palin support and stand up for the Second Amendment of our Constitution. Mr. Obama has proven time and time again with his votes in congress that he does not!
John McCain has stated for the record that he supports the INDIVIDUAL’s (YOUR) right to keep and bear arms. Here is a recent video clip interview with Outdoorlife.com.
He has said that we as law abidding Americans have the right to defend ourselves and carry concealed weapons. He has voted against legislation that tried to backdoor the Second Amendment by holding gun manufactures liable for the crimes of others commited with firearms. He opposed legislation that would have extended the ban of 19 specific firearms, deemed as “assault” weapons, many of them firearms that we as outdoors men and women use to hunt with. He also voted against legislation that would have banned certain types of ammunition, many of them the types of ammo we as outdoors men and women use to hunt with. He has also voted against the importation bans on certain high capacity magazines. He co-sponsored legislation that would lift the DC gun ban and allow D.C. citizens to protect themselves with firearms and exercise their Second Ammendment rights!
His running mate Sarah Palin is a life member of the NRA! She supports the Second Ammendment meaning that we as individuals have the right to keep and bear arms to protect oursleves. Here is a video clip from a recent abc interview with Charles Gibson about her 2nd Amendment beliefs.
She as governor of Alaska signed on as one of the 30 states that supported the Heller case against the D.C. gun ban. She has grown up in a family that hunts and has hunted herself. She understands what it means to be a hunter or angler and lover of the outdoors. Being from Alaska she knows what it takes to conserve our natural resources and protect, keep and maintain our wildlife to enjoy for years to come. We often see video of her sporting a firearm of some sort or the photos of her with her caribou. We hear audio sound bites of how she grew up in a hunting family. She supports our great outdoor heritage, hunting lifestyle, and our right to keep and bear arms!
Now the other side will have you believe that they support the Second Amendment by the video clips they give us on the nightly news along with plenty of audio sound bites. Here is a video clip of what Mr. Obama believes about gun ownership in America.
He has never once said that he supports the right for law abidding Americans to defend themselves with firearms! He has stated that he opposed four of the five Supreme Court Justices that voted in favor of the Heller vs. D.C. case. He voted in the Illinios State Senate to ban so called “assualt” weapons that would have made semi automatic firearms, along with single and double barrel shotguns illegal, these are what we use to hunt with people. He voted in favor of the legislation that would allow gun manufactures to be held liable in cases where criminals used firearms. That is like blaming the big three car manufactures for drunk driving. He also voted for reinstituting the Clinton Gun Ban along with banning almost all rifle ammunition that is used in sport shooting and hunting. Not to mention he voted for a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition. He endorses a complete ban on hand gun ownership along with a national gun registery, ammunition microstamping and is against YOUR right to carry laws. Is this the person you want in office? What do you think will happen in his first 100 days in office with a Democratic House and Senate? His campaign is about “Change”, you will see change all right, it will be a “Change” in the law concerning YOUR GUNS!
Mr. Obama is also backed by the Humane Society Of The United States. This group isn’t your typical doggy shelter down the street, although they would have you to believe that. They have never given one red cent to any local animal shelter anywhere. Their sole purpose is to eliminate ALL hunting period! Wayne Pacelle the president of the HSUS stated:“If we could shut down all sport hunting in a moment, we would.” – as quoted by the Associated Press in Impassioned Agitator, December 30, 1991“Our goal is to get sport hunting in the same category as cock fighting and dog fighting. Our opponents say hunting is a tradition. We say traditions can change.” – Bozeman Daily Chronicle, October 8, 1991This is who is supporting Mr. Obama, a group that wants to end YOUR hunting! He doesn’t support YOUR right to keep and bear arms and the group that supports him doesn’t want YOU to hunt. Now there’s some “Change” coming for you!
His running mate Joe Biden has said that he wrote the assualt weapons ban bill that eventually became Clinton’s Brady Bill. Here is a video about his comment on a gun control question posed to him during the Democratic debates.
He has authored S.2237 which would renew the Clinton gun ban on almost 200 of the firearms we use today to hunt with, based on size, shape, grips, and ammunition capacity.
I don’t know about you but I will vote my Second Amendment rights this election. Right now the media is making the economy the main issue and that is important! Watch this video clip if you would like to view a video clip concerning who is to blame for the subprime mortgage loan scandal.
But the video clips your not seeing are those about how they stand on the Second Amendment. The audio clips your not hearing are those about how they will protect your right to keep and bear arms. Without the Second Amendment all of our other Amendments are worthless. Mr. Obama is threatening legal action against the NRA for campaign ads it has ran on him. Already Mr. Obama is threatening our First Amendment rights, our freedom of speech!

It is time for us as sportsmen and women to be counted and heard! You must vote your Second Amendment Rights on November 4th! Quit listening to the media’s lies, their distorted video clips and audio sound bites. Take the time for yourself to do your own research and check the facts, the real facts! For those of you in the great outdoor states of Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Virginia check the Sportsmen For McCain for upcoming rallies, and town hall meetings to get more information. Take the time to become informed, don’t let the media tell you what you need to know! Take the time to become educated about the facts, do your own research! Vote 2nd Amendment, Vote McCain Palin on November 4th!

Man, I amlost get sick when I think about what our future could be with that lunatic Obama. The sad part is, I know alot of people that don’t both to look for them selves and are falling into his trap. Even fellow sportsmen!

nice article!!! I am a grandmother of 6 and I have a cpl license so I can legally have a pistol for protection. My husband is an avid hunter and outdoorsman. We totally agree with you on this topic. God help us all if our rights to bare arms are banned. Keep up the good work.

Obama scares the heck out of me. I am so sick of those worthless ads that take everything out of context, beside I never pay attention to them anyways. I look at their record and what they have done. Therefore I will not be voting for so called “change” because I don’t like where that change will more than likely be heading. I am voting for Mcain and my second admentment right. I have a lot of family members that don’t agree with me but then again some them are anti gun, which makes for some interesting family get togethers.

I am always astonished at how many people vote one way or another just because of something they heard.
Do you research; find out the facts. Then go an vote for what you think is right.

Nice job Mike. I honestly can’t ever remember a more dangerous person running for president. It amazes me how many people want to put him in control of our nuclear arsenal who know nothing about his background. It’s up to us to get the word. Here’s a thought: I have 2 McCain/Palin bumper stickers on my Jeep, one that says ‘A Navy Vet for McCain’. I also have a Navy Seabee sticker under it. I temporarily removed all of my hunting and gun related stickers from my vehicle because in the northeast hunters aren’t respected much and people tend to always side against us. They do respect vets though. Take this into consideration when you promote the ticket. The NRA and coyote hunting stickers go back on right after the election. I’m sure the left is doing the same thing, and their Marxist flag and legalize pot stickers will go back on as well.

Mike, I almost forgot. Charles Gibson is an ass (can I say that?). I’m sure he thought he looked authoritative, looking over his glasses and down at Sarah. Instead he looked like Grandma Moses knitting in a rocking chair. Talk about being out of touch. What a looser. I used to think this guy was halfway normal. I was mistaken. He’s just another left-wing liberal like Oprah, who by the way won’t allow Sarah on her show because Sarah would smile and at the same time make mincemeat out of her in front of Oprah’s adoring public.
