With this thought in mind, I received an email last evening from a listener of our podcast show. He wanted to thank Mikey and I for continuing to put out the information that we share with our listeners. This gentleman just came back from Iraq recently serving our great nation. He has since took up deer hunting both rifle and archery and has now taken up turkey hunting as well. He is going to take his youngster out this fall for a small game hunt, I can’t wait to hear about that one. This is what it is all about folks. Sharing knowledge with others so they too can enjoy what we love so much.

     Don’t wait to take your kids out in the field or on the water with you, if you keep waiting one day it will be too late and that opportunity will be gone. Don’t wait to take out your father or uncle with you into the field. If you wait too long, one day they maybe gone and you’ll never get that chance again. Some day we will all face our last hunting trip or fishing trip. Will you look back and wish you had taken more of them with the people you love? I hope you never have to face that situation. I know that Art always loved to talk hunting and he wanted to share it with anyone he could. I don’t think he ever had to look back and wish for what could have been, because he always made the most of the time that I shared with him.

     This fall take someone close to you out into the field with you. Take a kid from down the street, or a relative that you know would love to get out just one more time and chase those squirrels or deer. You will be glad you did. We will miss you Art, but I will always have that memory of the first time I hunted with you. Thanks for that great morning turkey hunt.
