Mossy Oak Event
Posted by MikeAdams on August 11, 2008
Well I went to my first event for Mossy Oak this weekend at the local Bass Pro Store in Auburn Hills, MI. What an eye opening event.
After getting adjusted to where all the camo was at in the store, we got down to business. It was an informative weekend to say the least. I began to read all the tags on the new scent control products along with rain gear, etc… These are some of the things that I know what they do, but as far as knowing how they do it, I wasn’t sure. Then the fun part came, I got to talk hunting with the customers! We would ask where and what they are hunting. Then what time of the season they plan on hunting. We sold everything from cold weather gear to early fall light gear. Then we discussed the underlayer garments for the later season.
I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a rainy day, than to talk with other hunters and then help them make an informed decision. The highlight of the weekend was getting to outfit a new hunter from head to toe with a new scent control outfit. I also got to see the new Treestand Pattern from Mossy Oak and found it to be an awesome piece of gear. I will be giving that a try this year later in the season when the leaves come off.
So for a first time event for me, it all went well I think. I can’t wait until the next one.

Sounds like a great day.
I was looking into that treestand pattern as well. It looks very cool.

Great day and fun too. Learned a few things… we’ll be ready for Cabelas in November for sure!
Mossy Oak’s new Treestand is awsome…. as a pro staffer I HAVE to get at least one set…..
