Grizzly Quiz

I found this quiz yesterday while cruising the internet. Why I was on msn.com I don’t know.
But here it is anyways. It is eleven questions on grizzly bear situations and survival. It poses some questions on being prepared and some on avoiding a confrontation and some on what to do if you do confront a grizzly.
Personally I didn’t do well. Some of the questions seemed to assume you know a lot about grizzlies. If that is the case, then you wouldn’t have to worry about them in the first place. With that, I will say I got five out of eleven right. I guess I would have gotten eaten by the grizzly or at least attacked and left for dead! Yikes! Hope you do better than I did. Good thing Michigan doesn’t have grizzly bears.
I came across this quiz on another blog and I failed miserably at it.

Well, you did better than me. I got 4 out of the 11. Guess my new name should be bear bait! I did learn alot from it though.

I got 8 out of 11 - I didn’t know what kind of bear spray to get…I mean, what a joke - they didn’t let me buy a .44! Bear spray? Bah! Oh well - we don’t have grizzlies in our immediate area, but there are plenty in Idaho, and we have to be careful when we camp in some areas.

I only got 5 out of 11 also so I guess I would be bear bait also. I would just go with the buddy system and make sure that I can out run my buddy. Just kidding…
