New Addition To The Hunting Family

This weekend I had the opportunity to bring into our family a new member to the hunting party. We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival for some time now.
No we are not expecting any more children! After four, the wife and I took care of that situation! No it isn’t a new hunting dog, we already have three of those, and don’t need or want any more! So you ask what is it that I have waited for, for so long now? I purchased a bigger boat for the duck hunters and fishermen and women in our family. My oldest son has a 12′ aluminum boat, trailer and motor, but it is just too small for more than two kids and an adult to fit into it. I have been looking for months now, for a new larger boat. This weekend my brother in law called and asked me if I wanted to buy his boat. He is purchasing a newer boat himself and he knew I wanted one also. We are upgrading to a 14′ aluminum wide beam. It has a 15 horse merc on it, that will push it along quite nicely. I should have it by this weekend if all goes well.
So I would like to offically announce the new “Fowl Mouth II” to the Adams hunting family! Pictures and stories to follow in the upcoming seasons.
That sounds very simalar to the boat I have except that mine ins’t a wide beam but it is a deep V. Mine has a 15 horse Merc on it also and it is great for fishing. One of these years I want to up to 17 or 18 foot wide beam deep V boat that I can take out on Saginaw Bay walley fishing. I have the wifes okay to get one but I just need the money becuase I will not pay payments on it. Although even when I get a new one I will probably keep the old one becuase it is perfect for fishing small lakes with no boat launch where with the other one I couldn’t launch it. Nice – if your son is looking to rid himself of the 12 footer, I’m a willing taker if he feels it in his heart to give it away!

Nice. I can’t wait to buy my first boat, but it just isn’t in the cards right now.

Foul Mouth II…? Must be yours. Mikey is just too darn polite to cuss at any birds that flew by too fast. But I’m still confusted….you’d never cuss a bird would ya…buddy? ….huh?
