Late yesterday afternoon I looked out back through the back window and out in the back of the field I saw a couple of does with their fawns near the edge of the woods.  It seems a little early to see fawns yet, but I have been reading today on one of our Michigan hunting forums, that others are seeing fawns also.  It is a great time of year to be out and roaming the woods, turkey, morels, and newborn fawns.  What an awesome time.  Just beware of these young deer, they are not yet used to seeing cars and such.  So be extremely careful when you see a doe, there may be a fawn near by!  I’m hoping to get some trail cam pictures of them soon.  They usually come up behind the house where I put my camera this year.
